Nila Khamor Sithi is a soulful candlelight letter-writing competition curated by ENAJORI – Assamese Literary Association, designed to revive the forgotten intimacy of handwritten expression. In a fast-paced digital era dominated by instant messages, this event invites participants to pause, reflect, and pour their emotions onto paper through the timeless art of letter writing. The venue will be softly illuminated with candlelight, creating a serene and intimate atmosphere that encourages introspection and emotional honesty. Participants will be provided with writing sheets and a signature blue envelope, while they bring their own stationery to craft a heartfelt letter addressed to someone meaningful, a parent, friend, mentor, lover, or even themselves. As pens glide across paper in silence, emotions take form through words, memories, and unspoken feelings. The most expressive and beautifully written letters will be recognized and awarded. Additionally, winners may choose to have their letters delivered anonymously to the intended recipient, making the experience deeply personal and memorable.
